Mother, Michelle “MJ” Boyle’s life is a never-ending roller coaster ride. She has been married and divorced twice. Due to her divorces she has lost two houses that she had built.

For 13 years, she has been a single mother of two children and has lived paycheck to paycheck.

Life can be hard when living paycheck to paycheck, raising children on your own, and having no extras to plan for inflation or retirement.

MJ, however, is a strong single mother of two who faces her challenges head on.

She made the decision to alter her life and find a way to succeed. MJ used to pay $1,600 a month to live in a modest house in the Sherwood, Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest.

Now she lives in a Tiny House that has freed her life from debt and struggle.

MJ’s tiny houses took 15 months to build. It is eight and a half feet wide by twenty-four feet long. In her design she hasn’t left any of the comforts a regular sized home has.

Now MJ has no mortgage and no excessive space to clean. The tiny house is located on an old Christmas tree farm property in Sherwood, Oregon. It’s design is modern, but has some flair with refurbished vintage pieces from the 1940s and 50s.

While her kids transition to college, MJ took the time to make a change. She wanted to give her children a great college educations and cutting down her monthly rental payment would help her have more money to add to her children’s college funds.

Today, MJ only spends $75 a month on expenses. This is down from her $1600 a month from before. MJ is ecstatic with her new tiny living.
