Several polls have shown that nearly three-quarters of Americans who viewed President Donald Trump’s speech had positive reactions to his remarks.
A CNN poll showed that 69% of viewers had a positive reaction to Trump’s joint address to Congress, with 44% of those viewers having a “very positive” reaction.
A CBS News/YouGov poll had similar results, with a staggering 76% of viewers having a positive response to Trump’s remarks. In that same poll, 63% of respondents stated that Trump had spent time discussing issues that are important to them.
Trump’s speech also prompted feelings of hope for 68% of viewers and pride for 54%. The poll also showed that 74% of viewers saw Trump as “presidential” and “entertaining,” while 71% saw him as “inspiring” and 62% saw him as “unifying.” This is compared to only 46% who claimed Trump was “divisive.”
While Democrats are attempting to dismiss the poll results because the majority of viewers of Trump’s speech were Republicans, The Daily Wire noted that “even universal Republican support would not account for Trump’s strong numbers coming away from the speech.”
“CBS News/YouGov found that 51% of viewers identified as GOP, 20% as Democrats, and 27% as independents,” the outlet added.

Even more shocking, approximately three-quarters of viewers also told the CBS/YouGov pollsters that they agreed with House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) decision to have disgraced Rep. Al Green (D-TX) forcibly removed from the House chamber.
Green was kicked out after he refused to sit down and stop screaming at Trump in the middle of his speech. Johnson repeatedly warned Democrats, especially Green, to respect House decorum, but they were more concerned with their attempted publicity stunts to realize how badly they were making themselves look.
Johnson finally was forced to instruct the sergeant-at-arms to escort Green from the chamber after he ignored his warnings.
“Finding that members continue to engage in willful and concerted disruption of proper decorum, the chair now directs the sergeant-at-arms to restore order. Remove this gentleman from the chamber,” the House Speaker said.

The Democrats have been exhibiting raucous and disrespectful behavior, only to be drowned out by shouts of 'USA! USA!'

The CNN poll also had similar results, with a whopping 80% of viewers agreeing that Green’s behavior was inappropriate:

The results of these polls only serve to further prove Trump right: the American people are on his side on a majority of issues, while Democrats are continuing their downward spiral.
