Democrats are throwing the kitchen sink at Trump in this election.
They went from hoping he would run to trying to stop him with everything they have.
Another suit has been filed to block Trump from the ballot… this time in California.
It Won’t Work
Once again, we have a 14th Amendment suit that has been filed.
This time by attorney Stephen Yagman on behalf of someone named A.W. Clark.
First and foremost, they will have to prove standing, which they are likely to not have.
Second, they have to PROVE that Trump was either involved in insurrection or offered aid and comfort to someone who was.
They have neither… only what they think.
Yagman, in his filing, stated, “There is only one issue that would need to be litigated potentially, and that issue is did Trump engage in insurrection or rebellion…I think the answer to that question for anyone who has eyesight is that he did.”
This is the law, so it does not matter what we think we saw or our perception of something; it has to be proven.
For the record, Trump has not even been charged with insurrection, so this case should be mute.
But, with far too many activists on the bench, you just never know how these cases will play out.
