Trump Demands Kamala Disavow ‘Hamas Sympathizers, Israel Haters’

President Donald Trump is using the left’s tactics against them, demanding that Vice President Kamala Harris officially disavow Hamas terrorist sympathizers and condemn the rising antisemitism in the United States, especially on college campuses.

One of the left’s favorite tactics is to try to tie conservatives to the fringe elements within the GOP, then demand that they disavow them. They have become very skilled at this tactic in recent years thanks to weak, feckless Republicans who are terrified of being criticized by the mainstream media. However, Trump has become equally as talented at using their own tactics against them.

On Thursday, Trump tied Harris to the growing radical antisemitic wing of the Democrat Party, arguing that she “has done absolutely nothing” to fight back against the “explosion of antisemitism” under her leadership. He then called on her to disavow this radical wing of the party, which would be disastrous for her presidential candidacy. Democrats are currently stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to the Israel-Hamas war — as there is a strong pro-Israel element within the party that could take offense to a pro-Palestine stance, but there is an even stronger anti-Israel (and even pro-Hamas) segment that would refuse to vote for a candidate that even slightly supports Israel’s right to exist. If Trump is able to push Harris to take a side on the issue, he has a significant chance of cutting off a major piece of her voter base.

During the “Fighting Anti-Semitism in America” event in Washington, D.C., Trump stated: “I’m calling on Kamala Harris to officially disavow the support of all Hamas sympathizers, antisemites, Israel haters on college campuses and everywhere else.”

“She has not lifted a single finger to protect you or to protect your children or to even protect you with words,” he continued.

Trump went on to condemn Harris for sympathizing with the radical anti-Israel activists who terrorized college campuses nationwide in the months following the October 7 massacre. These activists set up Gaza encampments on campuses, harassed Jewish students, and caused several schools to cancel in-person classes, effectively hindering their peers’ education.

“Kamala Harris said that the radical demonstrators on college campuses were, ‘human emotion should be this way.’ This is her message,” he said.

Trump’s comments came in response to Harris’ interview with “The Nation” in July, where she declared that the anti-Israel activists were “showing exactly what the human emotion should be, as a response to Gaza,” according to New York Post.

Harris also stated during that interview that she “absolutely” rejects some of the things that the protesters said, but she understands “the emotion behind it.”

Trump declared that rhetoric “dangerous” and “unbefitting” of someone who wants to be the next president of the United States.

He also predicted that Harris would ignore his challenge to condemn Hamas sympathizers and antisemitism, stating: “She won’t do it. You know that. She’s not going to do it.”
