Former President Donald Trump received a warm welcome from an unlikely source: the majority-Arab Michigan town of Dearborn.
On Friday, Trump became the first major party presidential candidate to visit the majority-Arab and predominantly Muslim town of Dearborn.
While the town was considered hostile territory for Trump, his message appeared to resonate with residents — as he promised to bring peace to the Middle East in exchange for the people’s vote.

Shockingly, Trump received a high-spirited response after entering a restaurant in Dearborn, with fans shouting: “The best president ever!”
Of course, the Democrat propagandists in the media who showed up to the event shouted questions like: “What about the Muslim ban?”
This question, which is a blatantly false interpretation of an immigration ban on violent countries (that were not all Muslim) identified by the Obama administration, prompted one Trump supporter in the restaurant to shout: “There was never a Muslim ban.”
Trump ignored the question, but told the crowd gathered at the restaurant: “You’re gonna have peace in the Middle East — not with the clowns that are running the U.S. right now.”
The Republican presidential nominee also vowed to bring an end to the ongoing Middle Eastern wars, including in Lebanon — reiterating a promise made earlier this week in a post on X, which read: “During my Administration, we had peace in the Middle East, and we will have peace again very soon! I will fix the problems caused by Kamala Harris and Joe Biden and stop the suffering and destruction in Lebanon. I want to see the Middle East return to real peace, a lasting peace, and we will get it done properly so it doesn’t repeat itself every 5 or 10 years! I will preserve the equal partnership among all Lebanese communities. Your friends and family in Lebanon deserve to live in peace, prosperity, and harmony with their neighbors, and that can only happen with peace and stability in the Middle East. I look forward to working with the Lebanese community living in the United States of America to ensure the safety and security of the great people of Lebanon. Vote Trump for Peace!”

The owner of the restaurant specifically called out the Biden-Harris administration for failing “miserably in all aspects of humanity.”
“A wise man once said, peace is the prize, and I stand before him today,” the restaurant owner said in a video Trump shared to X. “As Arab-Americans, we unite against the betrayal of those in power. Our families back home suffer — their cries for help echoing across borders while the world remains silent. It is time to prioritize our nation’s best interests and foster lasting peace for all. This current administration has failed miserably in all aspects of humanity.”
He went on to argue that Arab-Americans are “proud Americans enriching” the United States with their “hospitality, education, and hard work.”
“From doctors to humanitarians, and poets to politicians, we embody the spirit of resilience and progress,” the restaurant owner added. “We look to a Trump presidency with hope, envisioning a time where peace flourishes, particularly in Lebanon and Palestine, maintaining the integrity of our borders.”

This Dearborn appearance was not too surprising considering Trump has shown that he believes he has an opportunity with Arab and Muslim voters — who have been turned off from the Biden-Harris administration that has consistently funded both sides of the Middle Eastern conflict. While many of these voters are outright anti-Israel, it appears that they would rather choose a president who wants peace in the Middle East compared to Harris’ support for funding both sides of the war.

Harris’ difficultly courting Muslim voters has been apparent in recent days, as even the radical anti-Semitic mayor of Dearborn has refused to endorse a presidential candidate despite Harris trying to gain his support in a secret meeting.
Meanwhile, it isn’t too shocking that many Arab and Muslim voters support Trump, as their religious beliefs better align with conservative beliefs on social issues.
Michigan is a key swing state that both Trump and Harris are trying to court ahead of the Tuesday presidential election, as numerous polls have shown that it is currently a toss-up state that will have a significant effect on the election.
