Donald Trump did make a big announcement this week.
However, it did not really get the attention that I thought it would.
Trump is changing his election strategy and it may be something that get his supporters a bit upset.
Need to Embrace It
Trump is now embracing mail-in ballots and early voting.
He stated, “In the states where ballot harvesting is still legal, we have no choice but to beat the Democrats at their own game.
“Either we start ballot harvesting or you can just wave goodbye to our country… We have to get smart.
“Our harvested ballots will only come from legal registered voters who are American citizens.
“With your help, we will master the Democrats’ game of ballot harvesting and we will win back the White House from Joe Biden.
This is something that should have been done after Trump lost the 2020 election because of mail-in and early voting.
The fact of the matter is this form of voting is here to stay now, so the GOP better embrace it or risk losing every presidential election moving forward.
This is not a bad thing as long as it is done legally, so there really should be no uproar.
Think about the percentage of elderly voters in the GOP and how many more of them will be guaranteed a vote now that they don’t have to worry about weather or illness impacting their vote.
Fight fire with fire…
