Remember Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act?
We all know it was climate change legislation, but Joe Biden touted it as something that would fire up the economy and improve the lives of everyday Americans.
Well, the United Auto Workers (UAW) president says differently.
The Long Run
UAW President Shawn Fain says the only ones benefitting from Biden’s ridiculous spending are the EV companies, not the workers building the cars.
Not only that, but he stated that in the long run, this transition to EVs will crush autoworkers.
He stated, “Well, it’s back to the same old story.
“When the corporations come to the government with their hand out, the government always delivers billions and billions of dollars.
“But when the working class people show up and say, we want our share, we want our equitable share, there’s always a reason why it can’t happen.
“When it comes to endorsements, our endorsements are going to be earned.
“And so, actions speak louder than words. So, we will make endorsements when the time is right and we feel like the candidates have shown and have delivered for our member’s needs and for the working class[‘s] needs.”
He projected a transition to all EV vehicles would cut the workforce by about 20 percent.
He also noted that wages will be significantly cut.
That is what Joe Biden is doing to our country, yet these unions continue to support him.
I am starting to wonder if people who vote Democrat are anything more than trained seals.
They see the letter “D,” and they pull the handle regardless of the consequences.
