Speaking with an Axios journalist, one anonymous Biden-Harris administration official revealed that “no one is listening” to President Joe Biden anymore.
The comments came in response to a shocking admission from Biden at a campaign event on Tuesday in New Hampshire, where the president effectively admitted that the Democrats’ election strategy is to lock up their political opponent, former President Donald Trump.
During the event at a Democrat campaign office in New Hampshire, Biden began by outright lying about or exaggerating Trump’s plans for a second term.
“This is a guy who wants to replace every civil servant, every single one — thinks he has a right under the Supreme Court ruling on immunity to be able if need be, if it was the case, to actually eliminate, physically eliminate, shoot, kill someone who is — who he believes to be a threat to him,” Biden said.
“I know this sounds bizarre. It sounds like if I said this five years ago, you’d lock me up. We gotta lock him up,” he added.
However, it appears that Biden realized his mistake and attempted to backtrack — though his backtracking only made things worse, as he effectively admitted that the Democrats’ prosecutions of Trump are political.
“Politically, lock him up,” he said.

Axios reporter Alex Thompson shared the clip as part of a post thread on X, where he went on to highlight the comments from the unnamed Biden-Harris administration official.
“For better or worse, no one is listening to him anymore and his words have little power and less reach. It’s a blip. Gone in any meaningful way by mid-day tomorrow if it makes it that long,” the official allegedly told Thompson.

He also claimed to have received a shocking text message from a former Biden-Harris administration official, writing: “Noting this could be politically unhelpful to Harris, a former Biden admin official texts me: ‘we gotta lock Joe up.’”

Thompson’s revelations prompted new concerns for many X users, who questioned how the country is being run if Biden is not in charge.
