Joe Biden is back at it again: instead of prioritizing national defense, he’s chosen to focus on partisan politics. The White House has announced that any proposed bill that does not fit Biden’s left-wing agenda will quickly be vetoed.
From transgender rights to climate change initiatives, this president has shown a total disregard for our country’s security and safety by demanding hundreds of millions of dollars be spent on these programs instead of supporting our troops.
In July, the Republican-led House of Representatives passed HR 4365 which includes a pay increase ensuring the lowest earning service members make at least $15 an hour for a 40 hour workweek.
While this would improve the lives of many military personnel, it was not enough for the Biden administration.
They believe any legislation must include items such as abortion access, climate change initiatives, diversity initiatives and transgender issues in order to pass their approval process.
This is unacceptable behavior from an elected official who should be prioritizing national security above all else.
What do these programs even have to do with strengthening our nation? How could they possibly promote national security?
It is clear that Joe Biden’s priorities are totally out of line with what we should expect from him as President and Commander-in-Chief.
It doesn’t end there either; 43 times since taking office Joe Biden has pulled weapons from U.S stockpiles in order to provide arms to Ukraine.
This kind of action completely undermines America’s ability to protect itself against threats both foreign and domestic – what will happen when our cupboards run bare?
As if holding up much needed defense funding wasn’t bad enough already, now we can see just how far he is willing to go in pursuit of his own personal interests rather than keeping Americans safe from harm’s way both abroad and at home.
