Paul Landis, a former Secret Service agent who was feet away from President John F. Kennedy when he was assassinated in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963, is coming forward with his version of events that challenge the official government narrative. After more than six decades of silence, Landis will share his full story in an upcoming memoir called “The Final Witness.”
Former CIA agent Paul Landis says in new book The Final Witness, he found a bullet on seat JFK was riding on in 1963, Dallas. Warren Commission swore there was one shooter for decades, tho wounds said impossible one gunman acted. X-rays went missing. Many still feel was a coverup pic.twitter.com/YsKoo14CSJ

Landis has always believed that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in shooting the president, but says “At this point, I’m beginning to doubt myself.” He has shared his account with multiple key figures including former Secret Service Director Lewis Merletti and author James Robenalt.
Robenalt believes that if Landis’ recollections are accurate it may indicate that the central thesis of the Warren Commission is incorrect. The commission concluded in 1964 that a single bullet struck Kennedy’s back and exited through his throat before hitting Texas Gov. John Connally and injuring him as he sat in the front of the presidential limousine. This idea has been called the ‘magic bullet’ theory due to how incredible it seems that only one bullet could do so much damage.
‘The Final Witness,’ a new book from former Secret Service agent Paul Landis, could upend the long-held “lone gunman” theory of John F. Kennedy’s assassination.

Landis said he found the bullet in question in the presidential limousine in the back of the seat where Kennedy had been sitting and put it next to him on his stretcher at Parkland Memorial Hospital for safekeeping while chaos ensued around them. He now thinks it was transferred from Kennedy’s gurney onto Connally’s sometime later on due to their close proximity at one point during treatment at Parkland Memorial Hospital.

If true, this means another shooter may have been present or some other form of conspiracy occurred which would make both Oswald and Landis’ initial reports wrong about what happened that day. Duquesne University President Ken Gormley believes Landis is telling his story out of a desire to correct history before he passes away rather than for fame or money as there appears to be no personal gain being sought here by doing so after all this time since Kennedy’s assassination took place nearly 60 years ago now.
