The Democrats’ January 6 insurrection narrative was entirely vaporized by the sanitizing light of transparency. All it took was for Tucker Carlson to show one video and promise a few more. Now, everybody knows how selectively edited the films shown to the American public in prime time hearings were.
An orderly insurrection
Ever since their beloved insurrection story was nuked by the truth, Democrats, New York Post reports, “have been running around like decapitated chickens.” The panic started as news broke that “House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has given Tucker Carlson unfettered access to surveillance footage from inside the Capitol.” That’s putting it mildly. The left is in total meltdown mode.
Our dutiful network media crews have resorted to running specials about the weather to fill gaps in news coverage. There are so many political scandals going on, all at the same time, they’re afraid to say anything. The news is full of “advice” on personal relationships and celebrity sightings this week.
After rocking the journalism world, by exposing the truth of Q-Anon Shaman Jake Chansley’s guided tour of the Capitol Building by security that fateful day, Carlson aired “five stories culled from the footage Monday and Tuesday nights.”

Those, the outlet notes, counter “the overblown ‘insurrection‘ narrative the Democrats and their media toadies have been pushing since day one.” Ever since the barbarian invasion, every single conservative Republican has been painted as as an “ultra-MAGA semi-fascist” menace to democracy.
Not only that, Nancy Pelosi’s hand picked kangaroo court went to great lengths to produce a prime time fiction series based on their version of an insurrection. It was used, the Post notes as “the Democrats’ main sales pitch at the midterms last year.” It didn’t help much.
Now, liberals are in total panic because they know Democrats “don’t have much else to run with in 2024.” That, pundits note, means “Carlson’s fact-finding mission is an existential threat to their electoral prospects.”
A danger to security
The liberal half of Washington is appalled that Speaker McCarthy would endanger “the security of the House” by handing the tools for “the next insurrection” to Tucker Carlson. They have him pegged as a Russian sleeper cell. The production team spent a full two weeks “combing through thousands of hours of video.”
Viewers were instantly struck by “how different the reality was inside the building that day compared to the J6 committee’s deceptively edited prime-time dramas, produced by a former ABC News president for maximum emotional impact.”
The official J6 committee actually “added audio to silent CCTV footage, inserting screams and other crowd mayhem sounds, to make it seem more ominous.” They are not happy that the silent version, depicting the truth, came out.

Instead of a violent insurrection, everyone inside the building was calm, respectful, and escorted around by security. This “was not the ‘greatest threat‘ to American democracy since the Civil War, as Joe Biden claims.”
Despite “the biggest investigation in FBI history” nobody “has been charged with ‘insurrection‘ and there is no evidence of any organized plot to overturn the presidential election result. Proceedings resumed a few hours late and Biden’s victory was certified.”
Compare a few hours of unscheduled touring with “months of deadly mayhem that engulfed the country before the 2020 election.“
