Joe Biden has an image problem, and the ladies on “The View” may have just made it worse.
Well, at least one of them did.
Biden has avoided recognizing Navy Roberts as a member of the family.
Former Trump staffer, now Trump hater, Alyssa Farah Griffin, broke the line and called Biden out for it.
We Would Be Talking About It
The discussion got started when Whoopi was upset over a recent New York Times piece by Maureen Dowd calling out Biden for not recognizing Navy as his granddaughter.
Dowd, in part, wrote, “Joe Biden’s mantra has always been that ‘the absolute most important thing is your family.’
“It is the heart of his political narrative.
“Empathy, born of family tragedies, has been his stock in trade.
“Callously scarring Navy’s life, just as it gets started, undercuts that.”
She concluded, “What the Navy story reveals is how dated and inauthentic the 80-year-old president’s view of family is.”
Whoopi was upset, telling Dowd to find something else to write about.
Griffin pushed back, stating the obvious, “I do feel like if it was Trump, we would talk about it, that’s the thing.
“If Trump had a grandkid he wasn’t acknowledging.”
If, say, Donald Trump Jr. had a child with a stripper and the Trump family was ignoring that child, it would be all the media was talking about.
Yet, because this is Joe, we are just supposed to ignore it.
I am with Dowd on this one… Joe Biden is a fraud.
