In the latest case of Democrat policies leading to a crime epidemic, brazen thieves smashed their way into a Lamborghini dealership in broad daylight, stealing millions of dollars in watches.
On December 11th, armed robbers broke into an exotic car dealership, making off with millions of dollars in watches.
According to police reports, two men were able to smash their way into Gold Coast Exotic Motor Cars in Chicago in broad daylight. While one stood guard outside the Lamborghini dealership’s entrance, the other smashed the display cases open using a hammer.
Despite employees chasing after the suspects, they got away with at least eight luxury watches that were worth approximately $1 million.
This brazen crime comes soon after Chicago’s Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot openly blamed retailers for the surge in robberies, stating that she is disappointed in businesses for not making safety a priority.
“I’m disappointed that they’re not doing more to take safety and make it a priority,” the mayor said. “We still have retailers that institute plans like security officers in their stores, making sure they got cameras that are actually operational.”

The fact that she is blaming business owners is laughable. Crime in Democrat cities has been getting worse over the years due to left-wing policies that allow criminals to stay out of prison. Democrats have been soft on crime, from their “defund the police” policies to their decisions to elect DA’s that refuse to prosecute criminals. At this point, they are just seeing the consequences of their actions.
