Title 42 gets to live another day.
The Trump-era immigration rule will remain in effect, at least for the time being.
In the second effort by the administration to end this rule, a lower court has issued a stay that will keep Title 42 in place.

Democrats claim the rule is racist and cruel, but it is the only thing keeping our borders hanging on by a thread right now.
We are currently seeing about 7,000 illegal immigrants coming across the border every day right now.
Most experts believe that if that rule is lifted, that number will double.
Not only will that number double, but the 25 percent or so of illegals being deported would then be staying in the country.
We have Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt to thank for this, both of whom celebrated the decision.
It is a good thing the rule was kept in place because as far as we know, the administration has no plan to deal with the expected surge.
