SHOCKING Herschel Walker Announcement

Republican Senate Candidate Herschel Walker said that he will pay rent for those facing eviction by Democratic Georgia senator Raphael Warnock’s church.

The Washington Free Beacon reported earlier that the Church filed numerous eviction lawsuits against poor residents throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

“I have never known a preacher that likes abortion even after birth, won’t pay his child support and evicts poor people to the street. I will pay the $4500 in past due rents,” Walker said.

At the height of the pandemic, Warnock scolded Senate Republicans for not supporting COVID-19 eviction protections.

Protections that helped tenants from being evicted while out of work due to the covid lockdowns.

The Free Beacon found that the church Warnock leads as senior pastor, Ebenezer Baptist Church filed a dozen eviction lawsuits against its residents at Columbia Tower at MLK Village.

The property is an Atlanta apartment complex for the “chronically homeless” and those with “mental disabilities.”

The Walker campaign told the outlet that Walker is serious. Walker will pay back rent, that’s a promise.

The former NFL running back is a political newcomer.

He is battling Warnock in a closely watched race that could determine the future control of the Senate.

At this time RealClearPolitics categorizes the election as a tossup race.
