As soon as it was confirmed that the GOP won the House, Kevin McCarthy took a trip.
As he headed down to the border, he invited Joe Biden to take the trip with him.
This got the media all fired up about Joe going to the border again.

Fox News’ Peter Doocy wanted to know if Biden would join McCarthy.
KJP called it a political stunt and said Biden had already been there.
McCarthy asked her to give the dates, and she brushed them off.
You see, there are no dates.
About 14 years ago, Joe Biden got close enough to the border to smell the air, but that was about it.
He has no documented trips to the southern border on his record.
Even the Washington Post fact-checkers had to call out Biden on this, writing, “On Oct. 17, he held a rally in Mesilla, N.M. The press officer on the trip, David E. Wade, told The Fact Checker that the plane landed at the El Paso airport and then the motorcade took the nearly one-hour drive to the suburb of Las Cruces. Joe Biden lies, a lot, and he has his entire career.
He makes up grades, meetings, events… nothing is sacred.
And he got caught… again.
