Did you ever imagine that gas stoves would be one of the hottest topics of 2023.
In all honesty, this should not be the case.
The problem, however, is that this administration continues to lie on a regular basis and all of its lies are getting exposed.
It is almost as though they are doing this in purpose to deflect away from other issues.
More Secret Meetings
Republican officials are upset over two things on this front.
First, why is this administration so cozy with RMI, a Colorado-based nonprofit that works to accelerate the global green energy transition, particularly through economy-wide electrification.
Second, why are they lying, or at the very least, trying to hide, meetings that took place between RMI officials and Ali Zaidi, a White House national climate adviser.
Rep. Bill Huizenga (R-MI) stated, “RMI’s access to the Biden Administration and connections to China are troubling.
“Their globalist agenda raises costs on individuals, families, and [small businesses] across [the U.S.] while empowering competitors like [China]. This isn’t random.”
Rep. Gary Palmer (R-AL) added, “The Biden administration & liberal dark money groups are working hand in glove to destroy the American energy sector. They want to ban your gas stove, drive up your energy costs, & make you dependent on unreliable energy sources. Republicans in Congress will not let this happen.”
Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI) also chimed in, adding, “Very concerning the more we discover about the Rocky Mountain Institute and the study used to try to ban gas stoves.
“As a member of the [House Energy and Commerce] Committee, I’ll be demanding more transparency regarding the situation and intentions.”
