CNN Commentator Slams DNC: ‘Nobody Tonight Said A Damn Thing’

Following the third night of the Democrat National Convention (DNC), a CNN commentator pointed out that none of the speakers had actually said anything of substance during the five-hour event, stating: “nobody tonight said a damn thing.”

During a roundtable discussion hosted by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper on Wednesday night, CNN commentator Scott Jennings pointed out that nothing of any value was said by any of the speakers, including Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Oprah Winfrey and even the Democrat vice-presidential nominee, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D).

“Nobody tonight said anything. Nobody tonight said a damn thing,” Jennings began, prompting a laugh from another panelist, far-left commentator Van Jones.

Jennings, who served as the network’s token Republican, then pointed out that the Democrats want Americans “to vote for a ticket based on absolutely no concrete idea about what they would do once they get in office.”

“You said [Walz] got more progressive when he got elected governor. So you’re saying every time he gets another office he gets more and more progressive. I think that’s exactly what would happen,” he warned.

Jennings also called out the Democrat Party’s sudden obsession with the word “joy” and lack of attention to any concrete policies.

“Tonight you did hear people say, ‘Well, we may not agree with him on everything, but at least it will be joyful’ … as they tax us into oblivion,” he said.

Jennings went on to compare the current state of the Democrat Party to a past shocking comment from former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) — when she pushed for Congress to pass the so-called “Affordable Care Act” and stated that lawmakers had to first pass the measure before the American people could read what was in it. According to the CNN commentator, this is effectively the Democrat Party’s new strategy — telling voters they have to elect Vice President Kamala Harris before they can know what her policies are, as Harris has refused to list a single policy on her website and has only publicly discussed a few communist-style proposals and other policies that she stole from former President Donald Trump.

“I think the idea that you could run an entire presidential campaign based on the idea of ‘vote for me to find out what’s in it’ ought to terrify every American,” Jennings said.
