During a speech at the Democrat National Convention (DNC), former first lady Michelle Obama expressed support for children transitioning.
Despite focusing her efforts as first lady on promoting healthy lifestyles for children, Michelle Obama told the crowd at the DNC that children should be encouraged to embrace dangerous, unhealthy and irreversible transgenderism.
Her remarks came as she was attacking former President Donald Trump for daring to support a ban on transgender medical procedures for children, where she accused him of “demonizing” children “for being who they are” — despite the fact that transgenderism, by its very nature, involves giving up “who you are” in favor of a lifetime of surgeries and hormones to change your appearance.
She began by attacking Trump with the usual far-left talking points, calling him “misogynistic” and “racist,” then listing things that supposedly do not “make anybody’s life better” — insinuating that Trump supports this list of hyperbolic nonsense.
“…Because gutting our health care, taking away our freedom to control our bodies, the freedom to become a mother through IVF, like I did-those things are not going to improve the health outcomes of our wives, mothers, and daughters,” Obama said.
“Shutting down the Department of Education, banning our books-none of that will prepare our kids for the future…Demonizing our children for being who they are and loving who they love — look, that doesn’t make anybody’s life better,” she claimed.
While Obama did not specifically mention child sex changes in her comments, it was obvious that she was referring to this issue. Libby Emmons, editor in chief of the Post Millennial, shared the clip in a post on X with the caption: “Michelle Obama supports sex changes for children.”

Other users slammed Obama in response to the clip, with one pointing out that she “couches her radical embrace of sex changes for children in ‘love.’”
“The worst sort of charlatan,” the user added.

Obama’s false claim that Trump plans to take away women’s “freedom to become a mother through IVF” is part of the Democrats’ latest efforts to smear Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) — as many on the left have tried to paint the Trump-Vance campaign as anti-IVF, despite both Republicans expressing support for the procedure.
“I strongly support the availability of IVF for couples who are trying to have a precious baby,” Trump said in April in a video statement. “What could be more beautiful or better than that?”
