Colorado Governor Lies About Armed Illegal Alien Apartment Takeover

Democrat Leader BUSTED, We Have Him Dead to Rights

After video emerged of armed illegal aliens taking over an apartment building in Aurora, radical leftist Colorado Gov. Jared Polis has claimed that the takeover was a figment of a Republican’s “imagination.”

There is clear footage showing the illegal aliens, who are purported to be members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, taking over apartment complexes in the Denver suburb of Aurora — depicting armed men walking through the apartment building and knocking on doors with guns drawn before entering an apartment.

Despite the existence of this footage, Polis’ office has dismissed concerns about the illegal alien crimes — telling the New York Post in a statement that the “purported invasion is largely a feature of [Aurora City Councilwoman] Danielle Jurinsky’s imagination.”

Jurinsky was one of the first to draw attention to the incident earlier this week, telling Fox News that parts of the city are under “gang control” and these thugs have threatened or even used violence against people living in the building.

“We currently have entire complexes under gang control — complexes where staff have been beaten up, they’ve been threatened, their families have been threatened [and] complexes where there are no staff left on the property. These complexes are being run by this Tren de Aragua gang,” Jurinsky told the outlet.

“They start brokering apartments themselves when someone leaves out of fear or whatever. They go in and take pictures of the apartment themselves,” she added. “Then, I’ve been told, within hours, a Venezuelan family moves in.”

In response to Jurinsky’s statements, a spokeswoman for Polis told the New York Post: “The Governor has already let the Mayor know that the State is ready to support the local police department with assistance from state troopers and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation if needed. But, according to police intelligence this purported invasion is largely a feature of Danielle Jurinsky’s imagination.”

The spokeswoman went on to note that “it’s illegal to take over buildings in Colorado” and declared that Polis’ office is “ready to assist” if Jurinsky has “knowledge” of such crimes. She continued to try to dismiss these allegations by citing statistics showing that “violent crime dropped in Aurora between 2022 and 2023.”

While the radical leftist governor and his allies desperately try to ignore the illegal alien takeover, Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman (R) confirmed to Fox News that Venezuelan gangs had taken control of at least two apartment buildings in his city.

“This is an organized criminal effort. Whether it’s trend, a drug war, that remains to be seen,” the Republican mayor told the outlet.

“Somebody put them there and somebody funded it, whether it’s federal government or not, we’re trying to find out who, these gangs apparently, or attracted to where there’s a concentration of, of, Venezuelan migrants. And so, they’ve, in fact, have kind of pushed out the property management through intimidation and then, collected the rents,” Coffman added.
