Deputy and Family BRUTALLY Massacred in Home Attack

A New York sheriff’s deputy and his family were massacred in a deadly shooting attack inside their Brewerton home.

The incident, which occurred at around 7:30 a.m., took place in the 4400 block of Riverview Road in the home of Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputy Isaac Eames, according to reporting from WSTM.

Onondaga County sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene at approximately 7:37 a.m. after a 46 year old woman called 911 to report a shooting at the deputy’s home. There, they found Deputy Eames suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.

He was later pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies also reported that two of Deputy Eames’ family members had been shot and critically wounded.

According to Onondaga County Sheriff’s Sergeant Katherine Loveland, both of the wounded family members were transported to Upstate University Hospital in critical condition.

Officials have since released the names of the two family members who had been shot during the attempted massacre.

“21-year-old Troy Eames one of the victims of a shooting at the home of off-duty Onondaga County Sheriff’s Civil Deputy Isaac Eames, died from his injuries Monday afternoon; 46-year-old Karen Eames, remains in critical condition,” reported CNYCentral, a local news outlet, in a post on Twitter.

Sgt. Loveland also noted that the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that they do not believe that the shooting was a random act of violence, but made sure to note that they do not believe that there is any threat to the surrounding community.

Deputy Eames has been employed by the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office since 2010.
