DOJ Charges Illegal Alien For Voting, Impersonating American Citizen

Despite Democrats’ best efforts to claim that illegal alien voting is not a problem, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has charged a Guatemalan illegal alien for voting in American elections and stealing an American citizen’s identity.

Angelica Maria Francisco, a 42-year-old illegal alien living in Alabama, has been charged with illegally voting in both the 2016 and 2020 primary and general elections.

In a press release about the case, the DOJ confirmed that she was facing charges of making “false claims of citizenship in connection with voting, false statements in application for a United States passport, use of a United States passport obtained by false statements, and aggravated identity theft.”

Francisco has already signed on to an agreement to plead guilty to all charges. The document revealed that the illegal alien had assumed the identity of an American citizen in 2011, then used that person’s identity to illegally obtain a U.S. passport and to register to vote.

“She subsequently used the United States passport to travel to and from her native country of Guatemala in 2012, 2015, and 2018,” the DOJ explained in the statement. “Using the same false identity, Francisco also registered to vote in Alabama in 2016 and voted in the 2016 and 2020 primary and general elections.”

This news comes as conservatives continue to demand stronger election integrity measures, including the SAVE Act — which would create better safeguards to prevent illegal aliens from voting and to prosecute those who do. The measure would require proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections, remove non-citizens from voter rolls, and allow legal action to be taken against any official who registers a non-citizen to vote.

Democrats have repeatedly claimed that the problem of illegal aliens voting is not real, with Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) falsely stating that the problem “doesn’t exist” and thus the SAVE Act is not necessary.

President Joe Biden even came out against the SAVE Act after flooding the United States with millions of illegal aliens while at the same time opposing voter ID.

Meanwhile, numerous reports have indicated that illegal aliens are being given voter registration forms across the country in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election, sparking fears that widespread illegal voting could sway the election.
