Well, I just watched a video that was something we seem to be seeing more and more of these days.
An ESPN broadcaster just did a face-plant during a live broadcast.
ESPN analyst Shaka Hislop, 54, took the dive Sunday night.
Help!
Hislop and co-host Dan Thomas were doing their broadcast during a friendly match between AC Milan and Real Madrid at the Rose Bowl.
Thomas was in the middle of breaking things down when Hislop got a little shaky.
At first, it just looked like he possibly just lost his balance, but then it was clear he was losing consciousness.
In just a few seconds, he went from alert to face-planting on the field.
Thomas was clearly upset, calling for help right away…

They still have not given a cause, but my best guess here is that the heat got the best of him.
This summer heat is no joke, and these guys are in suits, standing under hot lights, just to make it worse.
Thomas gave an update after the game, stating, “Shaka is conscious. The medics are looking after him.
“He’s conscious, he’s talking.
“I think he’s a little embarrassed about it all, he’s apologized profusely.
“Not a man who likes people to make a fuss of him.”
Well, don’t feel too bad, Shaka… it happens to the best of us.
