Is The State Dept. Protecting Hunter Biden [Details]

It’s starting to look like Antony Blinken closed his eyes long enough for Hunter Biden to slip away from the Department of Just Us under the cover of Deep State darkness. The State Department has been accused of “improperly” slapping top-secret stamps on a document about his well paid work for Burisma.

Hunter has friends

Staunchly conservative senators Charles Grassley and Ron Johnson recently discovered that “the State Department impeded an investigation” into the addict offspring of our chief executive’s “business dealings.” The way they did it was by “inappropriately” classifying “emails about his work in Ukraine,” Free Beacon reports.

They wrote a nastygram to Blinky demanding to know why his “department ‘improperly’ classified an explosive document about Hunter Biden’s work for Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian energy company whose owner was investigated for bribery.” Apparently, he has friends in low places.

Recent records,” the Senators write, “have come to light confirming that the State Department withheld records from our offices and improperly restrained us from making information public by inappropriately classifying information during our investigation into conflicts of interest involving Hunter Biden.

Those records included an email from State Department official George Kent.

In the message, Kent “makes reference to a bribe paid to Ukrainian officials to shut down an investigation into Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky.

Grassley and Johnson are totally convinced that “Joe Biden and his son used their influence in the United States to snag lucrative business deals.” Hunter and his shady business deals, wayward laptop, and sudden designation as a master painter have been a booger on Joe’s finger since he rode the campaign bus ahead of 2020.

Denied any wrongdoing

Every time either Joe or Hunter Biden get buttonholed on the subject of corrupt business ventures benefiting the enemies of America, they act innocent as the driven snow. Maybe that’s because they have powerful people covering up the evidence for them.

People like high ranking folks in the Department of State. “The email sought by Grassley and Johnson, however, seems to imply that career State Department employees thought Hunter Biden’s conduct was improper.” The didn’t just seek that email. They found it.

In “the November 22, 2016, email, which was obtained in full by Just The News” George Kent “details conversations he had with Ukrainian officials and Sally Painter, a lobbyist for the Democratic consulting firm Blue Star Strategies.” When “a former Ukrainian minister of ecology” was “investigated for paying $23 million in bribes,” he bribed the prosecutor to shut it down.

Kent alleges that a Ukrainian official said the country’s top prosecutor received a $7 million bribe to shut down an investigation into Zlochevsky.” Then he gets around to mentioning Hunter. Blue Star is reportedly under criminal investigation by the Department of Justice.

Kent also raises concerns about Hunter Biden’s work for Burisma, saying that Biden’s presence on the company’s board of directors undercut the ‘anti-corruption message’ that then-vice president Joe Biden was trying to send Ukraine.” He spelled out that Joe “should be ‘quietly’ warned about the conflict of interest.”

He was following Barack Obama around like a puppy dog at the time. Grassley and Johnson want “an unredacted and unclassified version of this email” and they want it now. They starkly warn “and end all efforts to hide records from Congress and the American people about Hunter Biden’s connections to Burisma.
