Now that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-CA) has been banned from her committee, we have been waiting for the pushback.
Well, we just got it.
Not only did she come back at McCarthy, but she is going after the race card.
Disgusting
When in doubt, make it about race.
To that point, Omar slammed McCarthy for her removal making it about everything that it is not.
She stated, “As the only African-born, not being on the Africa subcommittee is not just an elimination of a unique voice but an elimination of all the voices that have never been heard on a committee on the continent.
“It’s racist, xenophobic and discriminatory.”
No, it is actually good business because you are an anti-Semite and anti-American.
Omar has also been doing the media circuit on this over the weekend.
Last Sunday, she stated, “I think it would be hypocritic [sic] for him to remove, you know, the first African born on subcommittee on Africa on the Foreign Affairs Committee, where I’ve had the opportunity to not only represent my constituents but the voice of so many people who have never had a voice on the Foreign Affairs Committee.”
She is not alone, of course, as Reps. Schiff and Swalwell were also removed this week.
I say good riddance to them all.
