Omar

Remember This Day and What Ilhan Omar and Other Democrats Have Done

Democrats outright calling their colleagues terrorists and accusing them of fomenting an insurrection against the government? Totally fine. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, who has been the target of various jibes and insults from Democrats for months making an offhand joke about Ilhan Omar’s long-standing ties to terrorist organizations? And people start losing their minds. Show us what hypocrisy looks like? This is what hypocrisy looks like.

A video has emerged with Boebert speaking to her supporters, explaining that while she was in an elevator with Omar she saw a Capitol Police officer run for the door. “What’s happening? I look to my left, and there she is: Ilhan Omar,” Boebert said. “And I said, well, she doesn’t have a backpack, we should be fine.” The somewhat tame jab at the Minnesota Congresswoman whose long-standing personal connections to various active terrorist groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR are not only well documented but thoroughly legitimate.

“I will fearlessly continue to put America first, never sympathizing with terrorists,” Boebert wrote on social media. “Unfortunately Ilhan can’t say the same thing and our country is worse off for it.”

Ilhan Omar Begs For Pelosi to Unleash Her Dogs.

Omar said that she is “confident that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will take “decisive action” this week” against Boebert after calling Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy a “liar and a coward” for not punishing her.

In a statement that borders on the libelous Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democrat leaders wrote,

“Congresswoman Boebert’s repeated, ongoing and targeted Islamophobic comments and actions against another Member of Congress, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, are both deeply offensive and concerning.  This language and behavior are far beneath the standard of integrity, dignity and decency with which the Constitution and our constituents require that we act in the House.  We call upon Congresswoman Boebert to fully retract these comments and refrain from making similar ones going forward.

“Leader McCarthy and the entire House Republican Leadership’s repeated failure to condemn inflammatory and bigoted rhetoric from members of their conference is outrageous.  We call on the Republican Leadership to address this priority with the Congresswoman and to finally take real action to confront racism.”

McCarthy, in a statement, said: “I talked to Congresswoman Lauren Boebert today. She has apologized for what she said and has reached out to Congresswoman Omar to meet next week.” At McCarthy’s urging, Boebert issued an apology via Twitter.

“I spoke with Leader Hoyer today to help facilitate that meeting so that Congress can get back to talking to each other and working on the challenges facing the American people,” McCarthy said.
