House Speaker McCarthy (R-CA) has had about all he can take.
He has offered and offered for Joe Biden to come to the table and talk turkey for the debt ceiling.
Joe Biden has refused to this point, delaying it until the last possible second.

Biden has finally decided to call in leadership for a talk on May 9.
However, he has been adamant that the debt ceiling will not be part of any other negotiations.
McCarthy set the table for the meeting by having debt ceiling legislation passed in the House on Wednesday.
The bill would give Biden another $1.5 trillion cushion, but it would also require spending to be dialed back to cut the fat…

Even after all that, the White House insists that Congress should just pass whatever Joe tells them to pass.
Karine Jean-Pierre stated, “They need to deal with what is a stake here … which is making sure we do not default. Again, this is something that they need to do.”
Well, KJP, they did do something about it by passing legislation, so now the ball is in your court.
If you refuse to budge, then Biden will be the man responsible for crashing not only our economy, but the world economy when the United States defaults on its debt.
