Mother And Daughter Charged After FB ‘Friend’ Snitches on Them

Turning in your neighbors for wrongthink… What does that remind you of? A mother and daughter are finding out the hard way after a Facebook friend snitched on them for being at the Capitol building on January 6th.

A Connecticut mother and daughter have been arrested for allegedly taking part in the Capitol riot after a Facebook friend turned them in to the FBI, according to court records.

Jean Lavin, 56 and her daughter Carla Krzywicki, 19, were turned in via a screenshot of a post from Krzywicki which showed photos taken as protesters entered the Capitol building. In one of the images, Krzywicki and Lavin were smiling, wearing Trump winter hats just outside of the building.

“This is history,” her post stated. “we do not go burning down your city and stealing from your business. we come for the government officials that are ruining our country. We go straight to the source. change needs to happen. that is our house and you work for us.”

In one video taken during the chaos, the mother and daughter can be seen joining other protesters climbing barricades.

After they were turned in to the FBI, police interviewed Lavin and Krzywicki, who admitted that they had taken a bus from Norwich, CT, to Washington, D.C., but stated that they missed Donald Trump‘s speech because their bus driver was lost.

They also told the cops that they joined a crowd of people walking toward the Capitol, entered the building for around a half hour, left, and then returned for about 20 minutes.

“LAVIN stated they entered the Capitol just to look around of curiosity,” the FBI statement of facts said.

According to the daughter, they had left because her mother had fallen.

The mother and daughter are facing several charges, including disorderly conduct in a Capitol building and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building.
