NBC News has found themselves in the middle of a fire storm after their milquetoast, misleading reporting on the explosive contents of the Durham report linking the fraudulent, illegal spying efforts against first candidate and then-sitting President Donald J. Trump directly to the Hillary Clinton Campaign. NBC News painstakingly avoided making any connections between Michael Sussmann’s covert activities and Clinton. This represents a critical divide in our time. Where conservative and independent new sources alike have recognized the revelations of Durham’s filing and his eventual full report as wholly dwarfing even the Watergate scandal.
The blowback on Twitter from prominent conservatives was almost immediate.

NBC Shows The World Their Shame
As a quick recap The GOP Times reported, “The report from Special Counsel John Durham’s filing stated, that in July 2016, Clinton attorney Michael Sussmann communicated with another law partner who was serving as General Counsel to Clinton’s campaign, alleged by Fox News to be Marc Elias. In the filing Durham reported that Sussmann and a “US Investigative firm retained by Law Firm 1 on behalf of the Clinton campaign, numerous cyber researchers and employees at multiple internet companies” were all working together, conspiring to “assemble the purported data and white papers.”
“In connection with these efforts, Tech Executive-1 exploited his access to non-public and/or proprietary Internet data,” the filing said. “Tech Executive-1 also enlisted the assistance of researchers at a U.S.-based university who were receiving and analyzing large amounts of Internet data in connection with a pending federal government cybersecurity research contract.”
“Tech Executive-1 tasked these researchers to mine Internet data to establish ‘an inference’ and ‘narrative’ tying then-candidate Trump to Russia,” Durham stated. “In doing so, Tech Executive-1 indicated that he was seeking to please certain ‘VIPs,’ referring to individuals at Law Firm-1 and the Clinton campaign.”
The NBC write up rather than exploring the report itself emphasized Sussmann’s defense statements and obscured the obvious and crystal clear connections to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, and it’s absolutely shameful, but everything we’ve come to expect from the leftist oriented mainstream media.
