Airline Of Crashed Flight Bragged About Man-Free Flight Crews

New Details Emerge on Delta Crash

The Delta flight that crashed and flipped in Toronto, Canada, was operated by Endeavor Air, a regional airline that has bragged about man-free flight crews, quipping that they were “unmanned.”

As of Wednesday evening, there has been no information released about the identities of the pilots on Delta Connection Flight 4819, but it has been confirmed that the flight was operated by Endeavor Air. The flight crashed on February 17 at the Toronto Pearson International Airport, with shocking footage showing the Bombardier CRJ-900 regional jet flipping upside down while attempting to land, then catching fire. The crash caused 21 injuries, but no deaths, though there are still several victims in the hospital as of February 19.

While the company does reportedly have male employees, Endeavor Air’s TikTok account was proudly promoting the company’s “unmanned” crews — with incredibly cringe-inducing videos of all-female flight crews.

One of the videos shows a female pilot lip-synching a line from the 2004 Disney movie “The Incredibles” while wagging her finger at the camera, with the voiceover stating: “Girls, come on? Leave the saving of the world to the men? I don’t think so. I don’t think so.”

There are numerous other equally-cringey videos on the company’s TikTok, including videos of female flight crews working while upbeat “girl-power-themed” songs play in the background. Popular X account End Wokeness made a compilation of the videos and shared it here:

These cringe-inducing videos have prompted people to once again call out corporations’ focus on so-called “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” (DEI) over merit — with many pointing out that the talent pool of female pilots is significantly smaller than the talent pool of male pilots. This means that, in order to achieve all-female flight crews, Endeavor Air likely had to lower its standards.

“I won’t speculate on the pilot’s name/sex, although I have seen information suggesting this was not the all-female crew. However, when I see an effort to create a DEI crew, I avoid that airline. The priority should be safety, not DEI marketing,” one user wrote.
