Nikki Haley has apparently put the fear of God into Democrats.
Now I have no disillusions that she can win this race, but she just became a major player.
After obliterating Ramaswamy during the debate, Democrats are getting very worried about her name appearing on the ticket.
Why Is She a Problem?
Haley is a problem because she removes a lot of the attacks that Democrats have against the GOP.
If she is on the ticket as the VP, she could be the swing factor in the election for moderates.
Haley is pro-life, but she does not want to outright ban abortions.
Instead, she wants to focus on banning late-term abortions.
Democrats are terrified of this and are pretending there are no blue states that allow abortions up to the moment of birth, but they do allow that in at least three states that I know of.
As you heard during the debate, Haley does not shy away from the role that Republicans played in the national debt, and she can do this because she was never a member of Congress, so Dems lose that attack.
Haley also has a different approach regarding climate change, simply asking what good does spending all this money and handicapping our energy production do when China and India are not doing anything to address the issue.
As the two top carbon producers, if they are not on board, nothing else matters.
And that is why Haley has just become the secret weapon of the GOP.
