Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is about as happy as can be.
She just got her earmark money.
Secretary of Transportation Buttigieg and Pelosi celebrated a $400 million check to help repair the Golden Gate Bridge.

I seem to remember Governor Gavin Newsom bragging about a big surplus not too long ago.
I cannot help but wonder why that money was not used to fix California’s infrastructure.
Instead, it is national taxpayers that are footing the bill.
Pelosi had a massive amount of money tagged in recent legislation to help out CA, and now she is getting this big payout.
Petey must have deemed this bridge not to be racist because California was just given $400 million to fix the Golden Gate Bridge.
Buttigieg was all giddy, stating, “From the very moment that it opened, this bridge has stood as one of the most essential and recognizable in our country.
“Its location, its proportions, its design make it not just the defining emblem of the Bay Area, but one of the great physical emblems of the United States itself.”

Mitch Landrieu, White House infrastructure coordinator added, “Essentially you move from having shock pads to brake pads on this bridge.
“So when that bad thing you think might happen, should it ever happen, prepare for the worst, help for the best.”
So glad we are ignoring our border but sending California more charity.
