Police have apprehended an illegal alien from Honduras for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 13-year-old girl in Louisiana.
The illegal alien, 24-year-old Diego Rodriguez-Salvador, went on the run after he was accused of kidnapping a 13-year-old girl at knifepoint, driving her to his home in a trailer park, and raping her. Rodriguez-Salvador reportedly lied to the teen, who was his friend’s younger sister, telling her that he was giving her a ride to the store. When she realized they were going in the wrong direction, he pulled out a knife.

Officials with the Kenner Police Department requested the public’s help in capturing Rodriguez-Salvador — though he ultimately turned himself in to authorities in New Orleans after his name and face were plastered across numerous news channels.
Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley explained in a press conference that it is often very difficult for law enforcement to find illegal alien suspects, noting that their illegal status makes them effectively “ghosts.”
“I’ve said it over and over again, it is a challenge for law enforcement across the whole country. When [illegal immigrants] come into this country, they’re basically ghosts,” Conley said. “They disappear. We have no identifiers. It’s challenging to even identify them through any of our databases.”
“Anybody that uses a knife and overpowers a 13-year-old girl to rape them and then flees, that’s a coward,” the police chief added.

Conley also told the media that it is still unclear when Rodriguez-Salvador entered the U.S. illegally, though it is presumed that he is one of the millions of illegal aliens that Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden allowed into the country under their watch. The Department of Homeland Security has reportedly joined in the investigation into Rodriguez-Salvador.
Voters have grown increasingly concerned about illegal immigration heading into the 2024 election, especially with the growing number of horrific crimes committed by these illegal aliens that were allowed to enter the U.S. without proper vetting.

Social media users responded to the news of Rodriguez-Salvador’s crimes, blaming the Biden-Harris administration’s open border policies for what the 13-year-old victim had to face.
One response came from Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), who wrote, “Tragic story from my community in Louisiana: A 13-year-old girl was kidnapped & raped by an illegal alien. Please pray for her & her family. Biden & Harris are in the White House right now. They can & must act immediately to secure the border & stop these horrific crimes.”
