Cruz Explains The Most Important Takeaway From Disastrous Debate

Ted Cruz Fiery Analysis

In a fiery post-debate analysis, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) noted that the key takeaway from ABC’s rigged debate was that Vice President Kamala Harris was “utterly incapable of defending her own record.”

During an episode of his “Verdict” podcast alongside co-host Ben Ferguson, Cruz explained the real implications of Tuesday’s debate between former President Donald Trump, Harris, and her allies, the ABC moderators. While Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media have insisted that Harris won the debate, Cruz pointed out that she essentially refused to answer several important questions and was extremely vague about her plans if she wins the presidency.

“What tonight illustrated is that Kamala Harris is utterly incapable of defending her own record,” the Texas senator said. “What we saw tonight, this was her stump speech, and this was her DNC convention speech, cut into sound bites and repeated.”

Cruz then emphasized the fact that Harris completely avoided responding to questions from the Democrat propagandists masquerading as moderators, noting that she refused to answer the most important question — the first question about the economy and whether people were better off now or under Trump’s presidency.

“Kamala refused to answer it at all,” he said. “She didn’t say yes. She didn’t say people’s lives are better. She said nothing at all.”

“If I were to predict, we’re not going to see Kamala emerge from the basement until Election Day,” Cruz added. “It’s like the groundhog until she sees her shadow on election day, she doesn’t get to come out of the basement.”

He further pointed out that Harris has a pretty good chance of getting away with not actually campaigning or answering questions because of the mainstream media’s desperation for her to win. The Democrat propagandists in the media are so in the tank for Harris that “they were going to say that whatever happened — she could literally fall to the ground and start screaming and wailing and kicking her feet in the air — and they would say she won,” Cruz explained.

“So that that was going to be the narrative regardless, I will say what we learned is she doesn’t have a good answer to her own record,” he concluded.
