The Taliban’s Victory Parade With U.S. Equipment

President Joe Biden and his administration are facing intense backlash on social media ahead of the third anniversary of the failed Afghanistan withdrawal after the Taliban held a victory parade at a former U.S. airbase, showing off the U.S. military equipment that Biden left behind for them.

Almost three years after Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan that left 13 U.S. servicemembers dead and led to the Taliban seizing control almost immediately, the terrorist organization was seen celebrating at the former U.S. Bagram air base with an extensive display of abandoned U.S. military equipment. During the demonstration, the Taliban claimed that they had restored “peace and security” to Afghanistan, despite the fact that the Afghani people are continuing to suffer under terrorist leadership.

“The Islamic Emirate eliminated internal differences and expanded the scope of unity and cooperation in the country,” Afghanistan Deputy Prime Minister Maulvi Abdul Kabir claimed during a speech at the Bagram base on Wednesday, according to The Associated Press. “No one will be allowed to interfere in internal affairs, and Afghan soil will not be used against any country.”

Videos of the parade went viral on social media showing Taliban terrorists driving numerous U.S. combat vehicles and armored vehicles along the airstrip at Bagram, while helicopters are seen flying past. There were roughly 10,000 men in attendance at the demonstration, while women were prohibited from attending. There are also images of a motorcycle convoy and fighters carrying weapons that were left behind by the Biden administration, including rifles and launchers. Biden reportedly left behind more than $7 billion worth of U.S. military equipment, which included vehicles, weapons and logistical and tactical assets during the disastrous withdrawal in 2021.

Social media users shared the shocking footage of the Taliban parade while calling out Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for their failures that led to the deaths of American troops and the loss of billions of dollars in military equipment that will be used to kill Americans, pointing out that their actions also caused the U.S. to be embarrassed and viewed as weak on the world stage.

Many, including commentator Matt Wallace, pointed out that leaving equipment behind in Afghanistan was likely purposeful, as the deep state wanted an excuse to start another war in the future.

“Leave all the equipment behind, which in turn will ‘require’ another war soon,” Wallace wrote.

“Reminder that Kamala was the ‘last person in the room’ before the decisions were made which resulted in 13 servicemembers being kiIIed and billions in equipment left for the Taliban. Kamala is responsible for the horrendous Afghanistan withdrawal,” wrote Libs of TikTok.

“What an embarrassment,” wrote podcast host Chad Prather.
