The honeymoon is finally over.
It has taken more than two years for it to happen, but the media is finally pushing back against the lies administration officials are spewing every day.
The latest being a heated debate between CNBC’s Joe Kernen and White House economic advisor Jared Bernstein.

Bernstein is the worst in terms of spinning the bogus narratives about Joe Biden’s economy.
He regularly touts the 13 million jobs created line as well as claiming this is the most robust economy in history, both of which are blatant lies.
They NEVER account for the COVID shutdown, but Kernen did not let Bernstein get away with it this time.
In the midst of more Bernstein spin, Kernen cut him off and stated, “It’s all about the inflation, Jared. You know that.
“I know that your job is to spin everything in the best possible light but real wages have not grown in the last year, we talked about this last time people are not back to making what they were when Biden came into the presidency.
“And people aren’t stupid, they know exactly how they feel about the economy.
“His economic performance is at an approval of about 35% right now.
“The 13 million jobs that you’re calling a record are people coming back after they were put out of work by COVID and we finally got back to where we were before it started and we’re just barely above that so, you know, to mention all these things in a way where people aren’t just totally clueless about what’s really happening Jared.
“You can’t just use one-offs to nobody’s gotten a raise. Real wages are down.
“So 24 straight months real wages were down because inflation ate away at the increases.”

If you check Bernstein’s Twitter feed, you see that all he is doing is offering more spin.
Kernen is right, however, because Americans are finally seeing through this rhetoric and their bank accounts are telling a different story from what this administration is trying to pitch.
This is going to make for a fun run into the election season, and it is just what Donald Trump needs if he has any chance of winning the general election if he gets the nod.
