In the wake of the catastrophic collapse of the Afghanistani Army and the subsequent dissolution of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, President Donald Trump gave a series of statements on Sunday, August 15th, and Monday, August 16th lambasting Joe Biden for the unmitigated disaster. President Trump wrote,
“What Joe Biden has done with Afghanistan is legendary. It will go down as one of the greatest defeats in American history!”
Devastatingly Accurate Criticisms From Trump
In a statement Saturday according to The Daily Wire, President Trump laid out five clear reasons that the Afghanistan debacle completely belongs to Biden and threw in a demand…that Biden “resign in disgrace”.
“Joe Biden gets it wrong every time on foreign policy and many other issues. Everyone knew he couldn’t handle the pressure. Even Obama’s Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, said as much. He ran out of Afghanistan instead of following the plan our Administration left for him — a plan that protected our people and our property, and ensured the Taliban would never dream of taking our Embassy or providing a base for new attacks against America. The withdrawal would be guided by facts on the ground.
After I took out ISIS, I established a credible deterrent. That deterrent is now gone. The Taliban no longer has fear or respect for America or America’s power. What a disgrace it will be when the Taliban raises their flag over America’s Embassy in Kabul. This is complete failure through weakness, incompetence, and total strategic incoherence.”
He continued,
“It is time for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen to Afghanistan, along with the tremendous surge in COVID, the Border catastrophe, the destruction of energy independence, and our crippled economy. It shouldn’t be a big deal, because he wasn’t elected legitimately in the first place!”
In The Aftermath: Biden Approval Rating Plummeting, Talk of 25th Amendment
As President Trump continued his missives noting the many failures of the Biden-Harris regime, noting Biden’s conspicuous absence in the midst of a crisis,
“First Joe Biden surrendered to COVID and it has come roaring back. Then he surrendered to the Taliban, who has quickly overtaken Afghanistan and destroyed confidence in American power and influence. The outcome in Afghanistan, including the withdrawal, would have been totally different if the Trump Administration had been in charge. Who or what will Joe Biden surrender to next? Someone should ask him, if they can find him.”
Five-Thirty-Eight reported that Biden’s approval rating has taken a severe beating in the aftermath of the fall of Kabul, falling below 50% for the first time they left-leaning mainstream media is willing to admit. (It’s kind of sad given how badly skewed in his favor the polls are, to begin with.)
And of course: #25thAmendment has been trending on Twitter for most of Monday, August 16th before being suppressed by the Tech Giant as more and more grim information trickles from Kabul where the Taliban now rules unopposed. Multiple Republican members of Congress are calling for Biden’s resignation as well.
