Pope Francis has become a favorite of the left. His support of woke social change and Marxist economics has made headlines around the world. But in a stunning announcement from the Vatican, the Pope announces that the Roman Catholic Church cannot bless same-sex unions.
The Pope has never shied away from making allies with those opposed to traditional values, to the point of alienating many in the Roman Catholic Faith. He has even made headlines by meeting with Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. This after she, a supposedly practicing Catholic, supported a bill that would legalize end-term abortion.

But Did Woke Pope Approve This?
The answer is yes! This announcement was approved by the office of the Pope. It even came with a clarifying statement.
“…Furthermore, since blessings on persons are in relationship with the sacraments, the blessing of homosexual unions cannot be considered licit. This is because they would constitute a certain imitation or analogue of the nuptial blessing invoked on the man and woman united in the sacrament of Matrimony, while in fact ‘there are absolutely no grounds for considering homosexual unions to be in any way similar or even remotely analogous to God’s plan for marriage and family…’
It is refreshing to see a Church stand up for traditional values. In a time when many Christian denominations are splitting over the worship of woke-ism. In Presbyterian and Methodist congregations, whole churches have been split as the scriptures are redefined. Sin no longer can be treated as such, but must be affirmed, or else we are unloving and bigoted.
Leftism is a Religion
The allegiance to the woke ideology would rival those of any zealous Christian. Arguably passing that of religious fervor and heading straight into cult-like fanaticism. The practice of critical thinking, and anyone who would dare to do so, is labeled the enemy.

It is refreshing to see the word of God, and its principles upheld, even by a Pope who so whole-heartedly supports the ideologies of many leftist philosophies. But not even the Pope can stop the tide of self-righteous activism that will come. The LBTQ+ Leaders and activists will not let this go quietly.
