Joe Biden has opened the floodgates to an unprecedented level of illegal immigration into the United States.
This is putting citizens all across the country in danger as unvetted immigrants are bused from New York City and transported to multiple municipalities, including Erie County in upstate New York.
Recently, two of these illegal aliens were arrested for sexual assault within a two-week period.
It is time for Mayor Eric Adams to take responsibility and cease his practice of shipping illegals out of NYC before more crimes occur.
Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz published an official notice to Mayor Adams demanding that he pause all transportation of asylum seekers to their community until they can resolve security issues.
He also contacted Governor Kathy Hochul informing her that he would like National Guard troops patrolling all hotels contracted by the state housing illegals.
While Poloncarz still believes in “welcoming” illegal immigrants, his trust has been betrayed by refugee agencies and local workers who have been assured safety but not provided it due to lack of proper screening measures.
Poloncarz realizes that this issue cannot be resolved without action from President Joe Biden’s administration and Congress implementing comprehensive immigration reform.
But this is not likely going to happen anytime soon, as the federal government has completely given up on vetting border crossers who are simply released into our country with no consequence other than being given a date they are supposed to appear before an immigration judge – which many never do anyway.
Meanwhile, armed Mexican drug cartel members walk freely across our borders, bringing drugs and trafficking young children with impunity thanks to Biden’s policies which only make us less safe each day.
