Democrats in Illinois just got their wish.
The state Supreme Court has allowed the no-cash-bail policy that was signed into law earlier by Governor J. B. Pritzker to stand.
This means hardened criminals will not be back out on the street while they wait for their trials, but that is not even the worst of this.
Idiotic Law
Not only will the new policy go into effect in September, but there is a caveat that I am sure will anger conservatives.
When this policy goes into place, criminals now being held that were unable to post cash bail will also have to be released.
This is happening while Illinois is realizing a massive surge in violent crime.
Safewise reported, “Illinois residents have the highest level of concern nationwide regarding violent crime, gun violence, and overall daily safety.
“Illinois also placed within the top five most concerned states for property crime and package theft. Illinoisans are also the least-likely Americans to feel safe in their state.”
The shame of this is that, believe it or not, there are still communities throughout Illinois that have managed to avoid violent crime.
The fact that Democrats continue to bow to common thugs and put the hard-working people in the state at risk is simply baffling.
How do these people continue to be elected to office?
