House Republicans are continuing their frontal assault against the FBI by demanding the DOJ fork over information about special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into Donald Trump. In the wake of John Durham’s scathing report, they want to know how many members of the bureau brought their bias with them into the latest round of the exact same groundless investigation.
FBI no fans of Donald Trump
Half the agents at the HQ branch of the FBI were card carrying members of the Hillary Clinton Fan Club. They worked real hard to help rig the 2016 election in her favor. Anything they could come up with to stop Donald Trump was used, legal or not. It still failed.
That really angered the Federal Bureau of Instigation. They knew they had to destroy Trump or he would destroy them. In the act of trying to destroy him, they destroyed themselves. That’s the big conclusion reached by John Durham, recently.
It’s a valid question for conservatives to ask if any FBI agents working with special counsel Jack Smith, to investigate Trump, were involved in earlier Trump investigations. This one could clearly be tainted by the obvious bias Durham found and spent 306 pages spelling out to the public. On Thursday, June 1, Jim Jordan and the House Judiciary Committee wrote another nasty letter to Merrick Garland and he came out swinging.

After what he read in Durham’s report, Jordan complained to Garland about “the institutional rot” that pervades the Federal Bureau of Instigation. Garland is in charge of the bureau. That’s why everything they do is totally legal, always.
The chairman is demanding “a breakdown of the number of FBI personnel working on the case, including whether any have previously investigated Trump.” He also has a few other related questions on his mind.

Reckless disregard for the truth
Jordan leapt straight for Garland’s jugular by asking “whether Smith’s investigation relies on any information gathered by the bureau in the period ahead of Durham’s appointment.” Specifically, he wrote, “the extent of the FBI’s bias and reckless disregard for the truth, which Special Counsel Durham laid out in painstaking detail, is nothing short of scandalous.” That’s totally true.
“The FBI has tried to dismiss the report’s findings by claiming to have ‘already implemented dozens of corrective actions’ to prevent similar misconduct in the future.” That’s totally a bunch of crap.
“The FBI’s window dressing is not enough. The Special Counsel’s report serves as a stark reminder of the need for more accountability and reforms within the FBI.”

No matter how much lipstick you put on the pig, it’s still a pig. Garland happens to be head pig. If he follows the high heels of his predecessor, J. Edgar Hoover, he doesn’t mind a little lipstick or occasional negligee, either.
Durham found that the CIA heard rumors that Hillary Clinton was illegally trying to frame Donald Trump with fake Russian collusion. The FBI was supposed to open a criminal investigation into her for it. Instead, they helped her commit the crime. They tried to finish the job with Robert Mueller and he couldn’t get it done either.
They tried again through two impeachments and now they’re up to a special counsel. When you find yourself riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to “dismount.” The FBI can’t seem to figure that option out.
