CNN commentator Erin Burnett was completely shocked when a reporter informed her that Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris expressed support for taxpayer-funded sex changes for illegal aliens.
Harris’ previous support for the radical proposal as a senator in 2019 was reported on Monday, when commentators unearthed a questionnaire that she filled out for the ACLU.

Reporter Andrew Kaczynski brought up the subject with Burnett over the weekend — telling the far-left CNN anchor: “Kamala Harris was trying to get to the left of Bernie Sanders. She was trying to get to the left of Elizabeth Warren. And you really see that in a lot of these answers.”
“And I want to walk our viewers through a little bit of what she said. Let’s just take immigration and look at what she said here. She said on immigration, she made this open-ended pledge to end immigrant detention. She said she supported taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for detained migrants. She also said —” he continued before a shocked Burnett interrupted him.
Burnett appeared visibly taken aback, asking: “Taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for detained migrants? She actually said she supported that?”
“She wrote- both wrote and answered in the affirmative when she was asked this, and she said she also supported it for federal prisoners,” Kaczynski responded.

This discussion came as Burnett and Kaczynski were discussing multiple flip-flops from Harris in her 2024 campaign compared to previous elections, including her support for cutting funding for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) while she was running for president in the 2020 Democrat primary.
Kaczynski also mentioned that Harris supported the federal legalization of all drugs in the past, including crack cocaine and the deadly synthetic opioid fentanyl.
Harris has been called out by numerous people in recent weeks over her repeated flip-flopping on a variety of issues, including border security and fracking.

Fox News reached out to the Harris campaign for a comment about her past positions, but received only a vague answer, with a campaign representative telling the outlet: “The Vice President’s positions have been shaped by three years of effective governance as part of the Biden-Harris administration.”
