After Vice President Kamala Harris flip-flopped on a myriad of issues, one CNN pundit declared her an “honorary Republican” — as she has suddenly expressed support for conservative positions on the border, fracking, and even taxes.
Most rational people look skeptically at Harris’ sudden support for fracking, border security, and no taxes on tips — pointing out that she’s clearly saying what she believes is popular in a desperate effort to garner support from moderates. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) even acknowledged this in a recent interview, stating that Harris is not “abandoning her ideals” and is instead “trying to be pragmatic and doing what she thinks is right in order to win the election.”

Regardless of the motivation behind Harris’ flip-flopping, CNN Republican commentator Scott Jennings labeled the Democrat nominee an “honorary Republican” for her sudden shift — a move that may be effective in turning off Harris’ leftist base who watch CNN.
“Here’s my nightcap,” Jennings began. “I was scrolling through the debate news today and I read headlines that say thing like, ‘Why Kamala Harris has embraced America’s oil boom,’ ‘Harris embraces U.S. fossil fuels,’ ‘Harris: frack on, my dudes,’ ‘Harris embraces oil and gas on debate stage,’ and then I heard her say she’s a gun owner.”
“And so, I know this is gonna, like, break your heart, I just want to once again welcome Kama — we’ve got a Democrat who’s out here trying to pump oil and buy guns,” he added. “And I don’t know if she means it or not, but it is a step in the right direction when a national Democrat can embrace fossil fuels and gun ownership at the same time. Welcome Kamala Harris, honorary Republican of the night.”
Jennings shared a clip of his comments on X, writing: “Not sure I believe it but welcome Kamala Harris…honorary Republican of the night!”

His comments came after a disastrous debate, where former President Donald Trump was forced to not only debate with Harris, but also to go toe-to-toe with ABC’s insanely biased moderators — who allowed Harris to dodge questions and blatantly lie about Trump, while at the same time “fact-checking” Trump and pressing him when he did not answer a question the way that they wanted him to. If the ABC moderators were honest, they would have questioned her about exactly what Jennings said: why is she suddenly changing her mind on key issues, and are these new positions real?
