ICYMI – Donald Trump got some pretty big news for his campaign.
Trump is finally starting to get some momentum back and is already touting it on Truth Social.
In the latest McLaughlin & Associates survey, Trump is now ahead of Biden, 48-44 percent.
Big Win or Outlier?
The survey asked, “Now, if the 2024 Presidential election were held today, which one of the following best describes how you would vote in the general election for President between Donald Trump, the Republican candidate and Joe Biden, the Democrat candidate, for whom would you vote?”
Trump was beating both Biden and Harris in the poll, but there is a bit more to unpack here…

Trump has fallen to a virtual tie with Joe Biden in most of the polls that had been released to this point.
For me, that is reason to be concerned when you consider how disastrous Joe Biden’s presidency has been thus far.
There is still some very serious concern about Donald Trump being able to beat Biden in a general election throughout the GOP.
Like it or not, that is probably going to be the matchup unless the Republican field thins out considerably, and DeSantis would still have to declare, as he is the only one with any real chance to defeat Trump.
Even then, DeSantis only beats Trump if the race is head-to-head, and it is expected to be quite large.
All of these RINOs are entering the race for the purpose of defeating Trump, but what they are really doing is handing him the nomination.
