Fearing Riots, Democrats Use Fake Names To Book Hotels

Ahead of the expected riots in Chicago, Democrats reportedly checked in at hotels under fake names to avoid facing the wrath of the anti-Israel mob outside of the Democrat National Convention (DNC).

According to a report from Axios, House Democrats were being told to check into their hotels with fake names because Democrat Party security officials are concerned that the radical leftist mob will turn on members of Congress.

Roughly 100,000 anti-Israel protesters are expected to gather in Chicago to protest the DNC, with numerous extremist groups having planned their protests long before Vice President Kamala Harris was appointed as the Democrat presidential nominee. Her appointment to the position has not dissuaded these activists, as many showed up with signs declaring her to be a supporter of “genocide” and calling her “Killer Kamala.”

Axios reported: “House Democrats attending the Democratic National Convention next week are being advised by congressional security officials not to book hotel rooms under their own names or engage with protesters if confronted, Axios has learned. The guidance comes as some Democratic lawmakers are fearful about their safety after being rattled by a series of disruptive pro-Palestinian protests since the Israel-Hamas war started last year.”

As the outlet noted, these demonstrations and riots have been widespread across the U.S. since Hamas massacred more than 1,000 Israelis on October 7 and prompted Israel to retaliate by attempting to eliminate Hamas. Many of these anti-Israel activists have outright supported Hamas terrorism in the wake of the October 7 attack, even going so far as to support the outright elimination of the state of Israel.

Due to fear that these extremists will become violent and destructive in their opposition to the Democrat Party’s timid support of Israel, the DNC has built a wall around the venue and implemented strict security protocols.

Nonetheless, the chaos has already begun, with activists calling hotels to find out where prominent Democrats are staying. According to an anonymous lawmaker who spoke with Axios, some hotels “have been getting random calls asking for people.”

The House sergeant-at-arms has effectively advocated for these lawmakers to simply hide, with official guidance stating: “If you are confronted by protesters, try not to engage and report to [Capitol Police].”

Another unnamed source told Axios that lawmakers are being advised to avoid several parts of Chicago because of the expected violence, which is likely going to be exacerbated by the fact that Chicago is already a crime-riddled and violent city.

“The protesters aren’t staying in a designated protest site… and there are people who are going to go and really try to cause trouble,” the source told Axios.

Meanwhile, House Democrats have been given a welcome package for the convention that emphasizes that Secret Service is running security for the event and “has been coordinating with all levels of law enforcement agencies” including the U.S. Capitol Police and the Chicago Police Department (CPD). The document also noted that they have provided “over 400 hours of training to officers specifically for this event.”

Of course, concerns are also heightened considering the Secret Service’s failure to protect former President Donald Trump during the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.
