After picking radical leftist Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate, Vice President Kamala Harris shared one of the most cringeworthy videos on her X account — an obviously staged phone call inviting Walz to be her VP, which social media users declared “fake” and “scripted.”
The post was published on Tuesday afternoon and the caption read: “When I called @Tim_Walz this morning to ask him to join our campaign, I shared my deep level of respect for him and the work we’ve done together. We’re going to unify this country and we’re going to win. Let’s go get this done.”
During the brief call, the pair of radical leftists celebrated each other’s accomplishments, and Harris made numerous cringeworthy comments, including: “Listen, I want you to do this with me. Let’s do this together.”

Critics had a blast mocking the video on X, wondering just how much planning, script-writing and stage-setting was done before the video was posted.

Several commenters noted that both Harris and Walz had to have a camera crew and a lighting crew show up at their offices to catch the supposedly candid moment on video.

Others questioned why it appears that Harris has to have a script written for nearly every occasion, though the reason is apparent from her rare unscripted events — Harris is known for her embarrassing “word salads.”
