Hillary Clinton made a strong endorsement for “The Hunting of Hillary: The Forty-Year Campaign to Destroy Hillary Clinton” which tries to portray her as a victim of years of right-wing attacks.
She limited comments on her post to only those she follows or mentioned.
Despite this, many people expressed their opinions about the book in an uninhibited manner, much like when Hillary and Bill Clinton were in quarantine after she tested positive for COVID in 2022.

Reviewers have noted that the book is favorable towards Hillary and allows some wiggle room by highlighting her temper.
Joe Klein wrote for The Washington Post that it catalogs every attack against her over the years with an underlying statement that she has achieved mythic status but not in a good way.
She is seen as someone who takes on the sins and shortcomings of others so they can feel pure.
Others have noted how the Clintons could be viewed as solipsistic, idealistic and entitled – believing they could take shortcuts while working for the greater good – leading up to Bill’s loss at Arkansas governor in 1980 due to people feeling manipulated by them.
