It would appear that it is not only the right demanding that Special Counsel David Weiss resign.
There are now leftist media pundits and publications demanding that he step down.
Most agree that Weiss has botched this investigation from the very start, but to hear them call for his resignation is shocking.
Step Down
An analyst on CNN absolutely destroyed Weiss with a double allegation.
First, he stated that Weiss was trying to give Hunter Biden an easy out.
Second, he accused Weiss of caving to pressure after everyone realized what he was up to.
CNN legal analyst Elie Honig stated, “The takeaway is that the DOJ has made an unholy mess of this whole Hunter Biden situation.
“I fault David Weiss, who I’ve spoken positively about on this show, given his long service as a U.S. attorney.
“But if you look at that reporting, first he was willing to let this thing go altogether.
“Political pressure ramped up, he backtracks and says, ‘oh no we’re going to need to take misdemeanor pleas.’
“Then they go in to court ready to take misdemeanor pleas, more pressure, more testimony from the IRS and then this deal falls apart, and now he says, ‘well now I need to be called Special Counsel.’”
He concluded, “It seems like now twice, he’s tried to make this case go away cheaply, twice been called out on it, and twice back tracked, only in response to the whistleblowers.”
The Wall Street Journal also published a scathing article demanding that Weiss step down.
The fact that the liberal media is even covering this shows you just how utterly bad Weiss has been.
