Russia Has Gained a NEW Ally…

During the daily media briefing aboard Air Force One, President Joe Biden’s Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told the gathered reporters that the OPEC decision to drastically cut oil production has shown that the middle-eastern nations are “aligning with Russia.”

“Look,” she said, “it’s clear that OPEC Plus is aligning with Russia with today’s announcement, and I’ll leave it, I’ll leave it as that, as I just laid out. You know we’re dealing with a time, where we’re, we are you know, the global markets are, the global economy is responding to Putin’s war. And so, by making this decision, it is going to have an effect on low and middle, middle economic, economic, income countries. And so that is that’s where we are today.”

Jean-Pierre was questioned about the reliability of Saudi Arabia in alignment with US interests, as well as if the OPEC production cut benefits Russia, since Moscow is also a global oil producer, according to The Post Millennial.

Jean-Pierre referred to a statement provided by the White House, stating that gas rates are down and that Biden will proceed to release millions of barrels of oil from the United States Strategic Petroleum Reserve, per his instruction to release 180 million barrels in March. The White House is reportedly requesting an increase in domestic oil manufacturing, and a reduction in prices.

Since Biden began tapping the United States Strategic Petroleum Reserve, inventory levels have plummeted to the lowest seen since 1985, The Western Journal reported.

“The SPR is located in a series of caverns along the Gulf coasts of Texas and Louisiana and has the capacity to hold 727 million barrels of crude oil. As of August 12, the U.S. Energy Information Administration reports that the reserve has been depleted down to 461.15 million barrels or approximately 63 percent of its capacity.”

Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas raised the alarm Aug. 10 when he tweeted, “Biden is depleting America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve. The U.S. now has the lowest amount of oil in our emergency stockpile since 1985. This is how much our reserves have dropped since Biden has been in office and it continues to fall,” including a graph depicting the SPR’s inventory.

The announcement from OPEC, Jean-Pierre said, demonstrates the reason Biden wants to pivot away from fossil fuels and impose reliance on an energy infrastructure centered on wind and solar energy on Americans, even though there is not nearly enough energy in those sectors to support the US economy.

“Today’s announcement is a reminder of why it is so critical that the United States reduce its reliance on foreign sources of some fossil fuels with the inflation Reduction Act,” Jean-Pierre said. “We are making a historic investment in accelerating the energy, the energy to be the transition to clean energy as it relates to Russia.”
