Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) absolutely destroyed a reporter who was harassing her about President Donald Trump’s pardons of January 6 protesters.
Just hours after taking office, Trump kept his campaign promise to pardon Americans who were politically persecuted over the January 6, 2021 Capitol protests — issuing sweeping pardons for nearly all of the people charged with J6-related crimes.
Of course, Democrats and the mainstream media lost their minds over these pardons — while at the same time ignoring former President Joe Biden’s insanely broad preemptive pardons of his entire family, Dr. Anthony Fauci, disgraced Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), and many more.
One of these mainstream media reporters attempted to ambush Greene in the halls of Congress, but she was more than prepared to counter the insane questions.
“Is this all you’re really talking about, is the J6ers have been pardoned?” Greene asked, to which the reporter replied: “Yeah.”
“Okay, are you gonna talk about the Biden family that got pardoned? No?” the Republican congresswoman pressed.
“I haven’t —,” the reporter replied.
“Okay, what about the rapers [sic], killers, and murders that Joe Biden pardoned — there are tons of them — is that a focus at all?” Greene interjected to ask, referring to Biden’s commutation of the sentences of killers on death row back in December.
Of course, the reporter responded by confirming that she was only focus on the January 6 defendants, which was no surprise to Greene.
“I know what you’re asking about — I’m not doing this,” Greene fired back. “This insane place up here, and all of y’all’s obsession with January 6 is absurd. Everybody outside of here is sick and f—ing tired of it. I’m serious.”
“Joe Biden pardoned all these murderers and rapists and disgusting people, and then everybody up here has got their panties in a wad because J6ers got pardoned,” she added. “A lot of them walked through open doors. That’s it.”
Greene went on to suggest that the reporter “go do a story on all the antifa and BLM (Black Lives Matter) people who never served time, over 95% of them. Seriously, think about that. Go do a story on all these cities BLM burned to the ground, and they never built back.”
She also slammed the mainstream media, telling the reporter: “You are not trusted and people are sick of you.”
Greene shared the interaction in a post on X, writing: “After 4 yrs, I’m fed up with Washington DC press. Your assumptions are ignorant and you are absolutely disconnected and clueless about what is important in life and to Americans. You have destroyed your credibility. With social media like X, you can’t lie about me anymore.”
